  Advance reservations are recommended for group visits and any guided tours at the Merry-Go-Round Museum.

We welcome a wide range of groups, including K–12 student groups, social groups, senior tours, and more. Group tours offer a more in-depth experience, with guided insight into the history of carousels, the artistry of hand-carved figures, and a closer look at the restoration process. 

School and youth groups are encouraged to book in advance for a more engaging and educational experience.

 The Merry-Go-Round Museum is committed to providing a welcoming and accessible experience for all visitors. Parking is available behind the building. The main entrance at the front includes 10 steps with handrails. For guests needing mobility accommodations, a ramped entrance is located at the rear near the parking lot. Please note the rear door remains locked—simply press the red call button and a staff member will assist you.

The carousel platform requires a 14-inch step up to board. The ride moves at a brisk pace and features both stationary chariots and up-and-down moving animals. Guests should ride only if they are comfortable and able to safely mount, hold on, and remain seated for the duration of the ride.
